About Claudia

Claudia Zamora

What makes me happiest is listening to people’s stories, especially the parts they don’t usually say out loud.

I’m endlessly curious about how we make sense of our lives: how we grow, how we adapt, how we lose ourselves for a while and then find our way back.

I love meaningful conversations, thoughtful questions, and the quiet moments when something finally clicks.

I work as a somatic and emotional integration facilitator, but I’m also a writer, author, and columnist for CityView Magazine.

Writing is one of the ways I process the world; it helps me notice patterns, name experiences, and translate complex inner states into language that feels human and accessible.

Whether I’m facilitating a workshop, supporting a group, or writing a column, I’m always doing the same thing: helping people make meaning of their experiences.

I feel most alive when I’m creating spaces where people can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves, with others, and with what matters to them. I enjoy blending structure with intuition, depth with warmth, and seriousness with a sense of humor. Growth doesn’t have to feel heavy to be real.

Beyond my professional work, I’m someone who values connection, curiosity, and everyday moments of beauty. I believe clarity often arrives not through force, but through attention, and that returning to ourselves is a lifelong, very human practice.

Everything I do, as a facilitator, coach, and writer, comes back to one simple intention: to support people in understanding their inner world and moving forward with more presence, steadiness, and self-trust.

I am dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate change, uncertainty, and the complex realities of everyday life.

My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Social Communication, which inform the way I understand human behavior, relationships, and meaning-making. Rather than relying on prescriptive techniques or fixed formulas, my approach centers on listening, integration, and practical support, meeting people where they are and honoring their individual pace.

Having lived within the realities of military life, I understand firsthand the emotional strain that comes with constant transitions, long periods of separation, and the challenge of maintaining balance amid ongoing change. I am familiar with the experience of holding responsibility, managing uncertainty, and navigating personal and professional life during moments of instability. This lived experience continues to shape the way I work, with empathy, realism, and deep respect for the nervous system under stress.

I also recognize the unique challenges faced by individuals transitioning between highly structured systems and civilian life, particularly around connection, belonging, and identity. My work supports people in rebuilding a sense of steadiness and self-trust as they adapt to new environments and expectations.

At the core of my work are values that guide every interaction: kindness, integrity, empathy, openness, self-awareness, and respect. I believe growth happens most sustainably when people feel seen, supported, and free from judgment. There is never a single path forward, only multiple, deeply human ways of finding coherence and direction.

My role is not to push transformation, but to walk alongside, offering perspective, tools, and steady presence as individuals reconnect with their inner resources and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Together, we work toward lives that feel more grounded, meaningful, and aligned, not through force, but through understanding and integration.
