Shambala Retreat Center is located in the heart of the Colombian Andes, at over 3,000 meters above sea level, surrounded by mountains, ancestral trees, native flowers, and a rich diversity of birdlife. Conceived as a City of Light, Shambala is more than a physical location. It is a carefully held sacred space devoted to conscious retreat, respect for nature, and the responsible facilitation of ancestral practices. The land itself plays an active role in the experience, supporting grounding, clarity, and deep listening. Ayahuasca ceremonies at Shambala are facilitated by experienced shamans with a long-standing relationship to the medicine and its traditions. Each ceremony is held with care, ethical responsibility, and deep respect for the spirit and timing of the medicine, prioritizing participant safety, containment, and integrity throughout the process.
